The India-Bhutan Foundation invites proposals from Bhutanese or Indian nationals/organizations seeking financial assistance for projects that enhance exchange and interaction among the peoples of India and Bhutan through activities in the educational, cultural, scientific, and technical fields.
The proposal may pertain to studies; research; educational activities; in service training for citizens of Bhutan and India at institutions of learning located in each other’s countries; exchange visits of scholars, poets, writers, journalists, artists, and other professionals in the fields of education, agriculture, environment, public health, sports, science and technology, etc.; seminars; symposia; workshops; and support to non-governmental organizations in the two countries whose work contributes to achieving objectives of the Foundation.
Eligibility Criteria
- They invite individuals and organizations to submit proposals.
- Note:
- Selecting the correct IBF Secretariat (Thimphu or Delhi) is necessary for proper processing.
- Funding decisions are based on the merit of proposals and availability of funds.
