IWMF Reporting Trips to Colombia and El Salvador: Supporting Women Journalists

The International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) has announced Reporting Trips to El Salvador and Colombia. A group of six journalists from anywhere in the world will report on conservation and sustainable development in Colombia. The trip will be based in Riohacha, Department of La Guajira. Concurrently, another group of six journalists will cover Women, Health, and Development in the IWMF’s first-ever reporting trip to El Salvador. This trip will be based in San Salvador.

Both trips will take place August 13-25, 2016. All Fellows will begin their trip in Bogotá, Colombia, where they will complete comprehensive security training and an orientation about Latin America and Adelante focus countries from August 14-16.

Note: Fellows living outside the U.S. are responsible for procuring all necessary visas.
