The Grandmothers for Reproductive Rights (GRR) is now inviting applications for its Jane Elizabeth Fisher Legacy Scholarship Fund.
In honor of Jane Fisher’s legacy as an advocate for abortion access, GRR! established a memorial fund to provide scholarships for young activists.
Reflecting her passion, GRR! has chosen to honor Jane’s legacy by utilizing memorial funds to provide scholarships for young activists.
Awards Information
- Individuals may apply for up to $1,000 each.
Eligibility Criteria
- Maine resident (for the first round)
- Between the ages of 16 and 26 years old
- Engaged in reproductive health, rights, and/or justice work in their school and/or community
- A financial need that would make participating without support difficult or impossible
- Black, Indigenous, people of color, queer people, and other marginalized groups are encouraged to apply and their applications will be given priority.
