2022 Startup Innovation Challenge: Mental Health & Wellbeing

Mental Health

Deadline: 12-Dec-21

How can we create a digital world in which the mental health and wellbeing of all youth are respected, nurtured, and protected? If you want to know the answer then register for 2022 Startup Innovation Challenge under the theme “Mental Health & Wellbeing”. This challenge is open to everyone aged between 18-25, regardless of their location, background or experience.

Please Note: This challenge is not finding existing NGOs but youth who have ideas and innovations to create youth-led organizations, advocacy campaigns and other solutions.

The digital transformation of society is happening at a rapid pace yielding many undeniable social and economic benefits: mental health and wellbeing communities and support are more available online, access to information and economic opportunities have improved, as has the use of artificial intelligence to advance the sustainable development goals.

The disruptive and ubiquitous digital ecosystem and attention economy are wreaking havoc on the social, emotional, and developmental fabric of the youngest generations – those born digital. Despite being the most connected, Gen Z is now the loneliest generation in America – eager for authentic friendships and human connections.

LookUp is a “by youth for youth” 501(c)(3) social venture dedicated to helping young people thrive in the digital world.
