The Boston Foundation

The Boston Foundation devotes its resources to building and sustaining a vital, prosperous city and region, where justice and opportunity are extended to everyone. The foundation seeks to broaden participation, foster collaboration and heal racial, ethnic and community divisions. The foundation has developed a Haiti Development Institute to concentrate its efforts on the second and third waves to help rebuild local communities and to fill the gaps once these groups have left, as long-term capacity building must be a priority.

The Clinton Foundation

The Clinton Foundation is an operating foundation. The money raised by the Foundation is spent directly on its programs, and not as grants to other charitable organizations.

The foundation operates programs around the world that have a significant impact in a wide range of issue areas, including economic development, climate change, health and wellness, and participation of girls and women.

Since 2010, the Clinton Foundation has raised a total of more than $30 million for Haiti, including relief funds as well as projects focused on supporting Haiti’s small and medium businesses, improving livelihoods, enhancing education and exploring the nexus of agriculture, energy and environment.

The IKEA Foundation

The IKEA Foundation works with a mission to create substantial and lasting change by funding holistic, long-term programmes in some of the world’s poorest communities that address children’s fundamental needs: home, health, education and a sustainable family income, while helping communities fight and cope with climate change.

The Foundation gave €200,000 to save the children to help children in Haiti surivie hurricane.
