The Impact100 Essex is seeking applications for its Grant Program for either a trans-formative project or a project responding to challenges presented by COVID-19.
Impact100 Essex is a giving circle founded and funded by women in Essex County. They bring women together to amplify the impact of their giving and empower solutions for the community.
Each year, Impact100 Essex awards a grant of $100,000 to support an important, innovative project managed by a local non-profit organization.

What they are looking for?
- Projects in Essex County with high impact that innovate, deepen or expand an existing mission, resulting in measurable, sustainable change.
- Projects addressing under-met needs, empowering an under-served constituency.
- Projects that address a new challenge posed by the 2020 COVID-19 health crisis.
- A plan to spend the grant within two years, and evidence that all funding needs will be fully met.
- Evidence that the idea is effective – show them your research!
Eligibility Criteria
- Essex County Only
- Organizations must operate within Essex County, NJ
- Require a 501 (c)(3)
- Track record of success
- At least three years in operation
- Annual operating budget of at least $100,000
- At least 2 years of independently prepared financial statements
Ineligible
- Lobbying, partisan or religious projects
- Debt reduction, interim or bridge funding, endowments or fundraising
- General operating expenses or overhead
- Grants to individuals
