Nillumbik Shire Council is inviting applications for Activism Against Gender-based Violence that aims to galvanise individuals, communities and organisations to address gender inequalities and eradicate violence against women and girls around the world.
Funding Information
- Small grants up to $500 are available to support awareness raising community led projects in the Nillumbik community that will be undertaken during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign.
Activities
Activities can include:
- Artist, consultant or provider fees.
- Arts and cultural activities.
- Community programs.
- Consultant, provider or artist fees.
- Environmental initiatives.
- Events.
- Indigenous cultural activities.
- Initiatives to activate public spaces to create unique,dynamicand inclusive local places.
- Virtual events.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must:
- Be an incorporated not-for profit organisation or community group that lives, works, studies, volunteers or plays in Nillumbik.
- Be auspiced by an incorporated body for unincorporated groups.
- Hold a minimum of $10 million public liability insurance.
- Have acquitted and is compliant with all Nillumbik grants previously awarded by Council.
- Project must be delivered and funds spent by 10 December 2021 .
