The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Population Refugees and Migration (PRM) has announced a 2021 Notice of Funding Opportunity for NGO projects benefiting refugees in Chad, Cameroon, and southeast Nigeria.

Program Areas

Proposals must align with at least one of the following program areas:

Country-Specific Provisions

Chad: Proposed activities should seek to address the Sudanese refugees populations living in camps in Chad. Proposed activities should be sustainable interventions to the extent possible. Proposals must focus on the following sector: Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH).

Funding Information

Nigeria: Proposed activities should seek to assist Cameroonian refugees living in Cross River State in Nigeria. Proposals must focus one of the following sectors: (i) Child Protection (ii) Education.

Funding Information

Cameroon: Proposed activities should seek to assist one or more of the refugee populations in Cameroon: Nigerian refugees and/or the Central African Republic refugees. Proposals focusing on the Nigerian refugee population should focus on one or more of the following sectors: (i) Gender-based violence prevention and response (ii) Child Protection. Proposals focusing on the Central African Republic refugee population should only focus on the following sector: (i) Livelihoods (must include a market analysis, or will be disqualified).
