The Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Armenia invites applications for development cooperation projects for the implementation of the Development Cooperation and Democracy Support Program in Armenia in 2025.
Concepts
- They invite project applications for the implementation of the following concepts:
- Environmental protection and the fight against climate change:
- Implement waste sorting and recycling initiatives
- Educate the public about the importance of waste sorting and environmental protection
- Organize the restoration of green spaces and cleaning of public spaces
- Implement activities or part of them in the Syunik region of Armenia, as far as possible.
- Strengthening resilience to disinformation in Armenia:
- To raise public awareness of the dangers posed by disinformation and the techniques used by hostile actors;
- To strengthen public media literacy and counter-disinformation skills;
- To share Lithuania’s experience in recognizing and effectively responding to disinformation spread by hostile actors, as well as proactively creating a narrative that neutralizes it;
- To transfer the best practices of Lithuanian cooperation between state institutions, civil society and the media, including independent media.
- Development of economic and social activity in rural areas of Armenia:
- To provide training, provide equipment to strengthen the capacity of target groups to develop social business initiatives and generate higher income.
- Promote social business initiatives, focusing on women’s involvement.
- To carry out activities in the Syunik region of Armenia as far as possible.
- Promote the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, in particular in the areas of gender equality, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production.

Funding Information
- Up to 30 thousand euros will be allocated to all projects in 2025.
- Duration: From May 2025. until October 2025.
Application Requirements
- Project applications in the prescribed form together with the project estimate in Lithuanian or English may be submitted by natural and legal persons of the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Armenia, other organizations and their divisions.
- All mandatory and, if applicable, additional attachments must be submitted along with the completed, signed and scanned project application.
- The project application must indicate at least one partner in Armenia and attach their consent to cooperate in the implementation of the project (not applicable if the application is submitted by an Armenian entity or an international organization).
