AVPN is accepting applications for the Lighthouse Fund Program to address the financing and ecosystem gap at the intersection of climate change and health while fostering ecosystems for urgent action.
Impact Areas
- They are committed to nurturing and amplifying innovative solutions to mitigate climate change impacts on public health, ensuring a positive and lasting impact. They encourage organisations that work in the following impact areas within the climate x health nexus to apply
- Surveillance and management of climate-sensitive infectious diseases (CSID)
- Solutions to reduce heat stress and innovations in stable products
Support Offered
- Selected organisations of the Lighthouse Fund will gain access to a comprehensive range of support, including:
- Funding
- Capacity building
- Customised training and mentorship
- Networking opportunities
Geographic Focus
- Organisations registered and operating in any market within the Asia Pacific region are eligible to apply. However, priority will be given to those with solutions operating in India, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for consideration, your organisation should meet the following criteria:
- Possess a well-defined plan of the solution with potential for scalability, feasibility and impact
- Organisations must be able to provide 2 recent years of audited financial reports
- Joint applications are allowed, but there must be one lead applicant submitting the application
Ineligibility Criteria
- Your organisation should not be the following:
- Religious organisations
- Politically-affiliated organisations
- Included in the US or EU sanctions list, nor blacklisted by any UN or international agency
