The Two Ridings Community Foundation is inviting applications for the Dulverton Trust Fund to support charitable activities addressing local needs.
The Dulverton Trust Fund has been established to support small organisations working towards:
- Youth Opportunities
- General Welfare
- Conservation and Preservation
Aims
- The main aim of the fund is to:
- Support local solutions to meet local needs
- Promote community cohesion
- Develop sustainable and supportive communities
- Provide social and educational development opportunities
- Support general conservation and protection of wildlife habitats
- Support the protection of heritage assets and the preservation of heritage skills
Funding Information
- You can apply for between £500 and £5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- You can apply if your organisation is a:
- constituted voluntary and community group
- registered charity
- co-operative
- social enterprise
- community interest company (CIC’s will be subject to additional scrutiny as outlined in the grant making policy).
- Your organisation must also have an income of under £200,000.
Ineligible
- There fund will not support funding related to the following areas:
- work that addresses the impact of mental or physical illness, or specific health conditions. This includes the delivery of healthcare including treatment, medical research, counselling and therapy, and treatment relating to drug and alcohol misuse
- advancing religion
- the arts, including theatre, music and drama (except when used as a means of achieving one of the funding priorities)
- sports, including sports centres and individual playing field projects (except when used as a means of achieving one of the funding priorities)
- animal welfare or projects concerning the protection of single species
- expeditions or volunteering overseas
- conferences, cultural festivals, exhibitions and events
- research projects
- campaigning or lobbying
- individual schools or other educational establishments (except where there is a benefit to the wider community)
- grants to individuals
- retrospective grants
- direct replacement of statutory obligation and public funding
- major building projects, including the purchase of property or land
