The EU Code Week Small Grants Competition aims to support digital innovation and coding education across Europe.
This competition corresponds to the initiative: “Boosting Digital Skills for Young People, Especially Girls”
Purpose and Scope
- The aim of this grant competition is to identify and support effective local coding projects that align with the EU Code Week mission of promoting coding, computational thinking and digital skills.
- Projects focused on coding activities, computational thinking and digital literacy will be supported.
Objectives
- Creating opportunities for the development of innovative and scalable programming activities.
- Supporting initiatives that integrate programming into the educational process and encourage engagement.
- Promoting public participation and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Preference given to projects that bridge gender gaps and support diversity in STEM education.
Funding Information
- Grants of 1,000 euros will be awarded to the 10 best projects.
Eligibility Criteria
- The following can apply:
- Educational institutions (schools, universities, clubs, libraries)
- Public organizations and initiative groups
- If an application is submitted by teachers or trainers on behalf of an organization, it is necessary to upload a statement from a legal representative confirming the submission of the application and compliance with the requirements.
