The City of Greater Geelong is seeking applications for its Arts Professional Development Grants Program to support local, professional artists, musicians or arts workers, heritage workers and volunteer community arts workers to further develop their creative skills, business skills and professional practice.
Funding Information
Grants of up to $2,500 are available (subject to budget limitations)
What can you apply for?
- In general, grants awarded within this program should be used for the reimbursement of registration fees and/or travel and accommodation costs relating to the applicant’s participation.
- Applicants are encouraged to apply for opportunities not readily available in greater Geelong region.
- Cultural, Heritage or arts/music sector conferences
- Training seminars or programs in arts business and/or admin skills (not certificated courses or qualification that may be covered under state or Federal trailing guarantees)
- Creative Mentorships
- Creative Residencies (all Disciplines)
Eligibility Criteria
Professional artists, volunteer community arts or heritage workers who reside permanently within the Greater Geelong municipality may apply to finance selected professional and skill development activities including, but not limited to reimbursement of travel costs or registration fees for:
- cultural conferences
- programs
- mentorships or
- other arts education activities for individuals.
