The Australian Government has announced the applications for the Direct Aid Program, a financial aid program that seeks to promote the development of activities in Tunisia.
It is managed by the Australian Embassy. This program aims to alleviate basic humanitarian challenges and is an integral component of Australia’s overseas development program.
Funding Information
- gender equality, ending violence and abuse against women and children, and women’s economic and social empowerment
- recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic or supporting groups who have been severely impacted
- fostering a sustainable environment.
- Regardless of the type of project, all applicants should consider the impact of the project on women, children or other disadvantaged groups, such as people with disabilities.
- Projects must run for no longer than 12 months and should be self-sustainable beyond the term of the grant. DAP funds can not be used, under any circumstances, to pay staff involved in the project.
