The USAID Lebanon-funded BALADI program, implemented by Caritas Lebanon, has launched a Request for Community Assistance (RFCA 2020) to support vulnerable communities in Lebanon.

- Small scale renovation and rehabilitation works
Funding Information
Usaid baladi maximum contribution per project $50,000 (including vat).
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Applicants
- The applicant should be an NGO, preferably an FBO (Faith-Based Organization)
- The NGO should be registered – under an instrument governed by the internal law of Lebanon for at least 3 years
- The applicant is not a lead or partner in more than one RFCA application
- The applicant should partner with at least one local community group such as a NGO, CBO (Community-Based Organization), CSO (Civil Society Organization), private sector entity, diverse groups, municipality, union of municipalities, or economic groups and key community collaborators.
- Applicant Partner Eligibility
- The applicant NGO’s partner should be:
- Established, registered and active in Lebanon
- Accredited under an instrument governed by the internal law of Lebanon for at least 12 months before the announcement of the RFCA.

Requirements for Lead Applicants
- Copies of official documents certifying the registration in Lebanon for both Lead Applicant and Lead Applicant Partner.
- Organization profile including the vision and mission.
- Financial statement for the past 2 fiscal years, signed and stamped.
- For minor rehabilitation or renovation works, a copy of land title or lease contract should be available.
Conditions
The lead applicant partner(s)should be established, registered and active in Lebanon (i.e. the organizations are established by or accredited under an instrument governed by the internal law of Lebanon) for at least 12 months before the announcement of the RFCA.
