BBC Children in Need is pleased to launch a call for proposals for its Main Grants Programmes to help prevent or overcome the effects of the disadvantages they face.
Funded organisations achieve these differences by either working directly with children or seeking to improve their social and physical environments.
Focus AreasChildren and young people aged 18 years and under experiencing disadvantage through:
- Illness, distress, abuse or neglect.
- Any kind of disability.
- Behavioural or psychological difficulties.
- Living in poverty or situations of deprivation.
- Organisations can apply for £10,001 or more, per year
- You can not apply for more than £40,000 per year
- They are highly unlikely to award above £100k in total
- Grants may be up to 3 years in length
- All of the grants are for organisations who:
- Are not-for-profit
- Are based within the UK
- Meet the Minimum Standards for Grantmaking
- The Main grants are for organisations who:
- Are registered with the appropriate regulatory body, such as your nation’s Charity Commission or Companies House
