The United States Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, is seeking applications from qualified organisations to strengthen criminal justice institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) uphold the rule of law, and in particular fight organized crime and corruption.

The purpose of this project is to strengthen BiH judicial, investigative, and prosecutorial capacity on financial crime-related cases (to include topics related to asset forfeiture and its role in prosecuting corruption) in a sustainable manner, such as by involving the Judicial and Prosecutorial Training Centers (JPTCs) as appropriate

Objective

Develop and improve judicial, investigative, prosecutorial capacity to prosecute, investigate, and adjudicate financial crime-related cases (these types of cases can range from those related to corruption, organized crime, and terrorism.) in a sustainable manner and coordinated through the international donor community.
