Deadline: 2-Jul-25
The AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific is inviting social impact-driven organisations (both for-profit and non-profit) that are interested in customising the basic AI training curriculum and materials offered by AVPN and delivering them to workers in their respective markets for 18 months.
AVPN, with support from Google.org and Asian Development Bank (ADB), will support workers across Asia Pacific who are most impacted by workforce transitions that are driven by AI. A diverse range of organisations including charitable nonprofits, public interest organisations, social enterprises, civic institutions, municipalities, labour unions, professional bodies and associations reaching these workers will be selected through an open call.
AI Opportunity Fund: Asia Pacific has onboarded 10 strategic partners across the Asia Pacific, followed by the selection of 49 organisations that will receive financial support and expert guidance to become local training providers during the first phase. These organisations came from diverse backgrounds such as agriculture, education, healthcare, and MSMEs.
Support Offered
- Selected organisations of the AI Opportunity Fund: Asia-Pacific will gain access to a comprehensive range of support, including:
- Funding

- They are also supporting organisations to empower MSME in building AI capacity and adopting AI in their businesses. This will be done through close collaboration with the Strategic Partner, the ASEAN Foundation.
