Innovation Norway has announced for the Energy Programme to stimulate and develop long-term cooperation between Norway and Romania.
Aims
- The projects should contribute to increased renewable energy production from Renewable Energy Sources. The expected outputs are increased installed capacity for production of energy/electricity with Renewable Energy Sources, and increased number of new installations for production of renewable energy/electricity from renewable sources.
- Projects are also expected to contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions and increased security of supply.
Areas of support
This Scheme can provide support for projects that will develop and implement activities aiming at energy/electricity production from Renewable Energy Sources (RES) within one or more of the following areas:
- Hydropower: This Scheme can provide support for projects that will develop and implement activities within the hydropower field
- Geothermal: This Scheme can provide support for projects that will develop and implement activities within the Geothermal field (applies for both deep high temperature geothermal energy and shallow low temperature geothermal energy
- Renewable energy from other sources (other RES): This Scheme can provide support for projects that will develop and implement activities aiming at energy/ele ctricity production from other Renewable Energy Sources (other RES)
Funding Information
- A total of 1,900,100 euro.
- Between 50,000 euro and 200,000 euro per project.
Expected Outputs
The expected outputs are:
- increased installed capacity for production of energy/electricity with Renewable Energy Source and
- increased number of new installations for production of renewable energy/electricity for renewable sources.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible applicants are SMEs and NGOs (including social enterprises with economic activities), established as legal person in Romania.
- The applicant must have been established for at least 3 years at the date of the deadline of the present call.
- The Romanian enterprise applies on behalf of the partners in the projects.
- Eligible partners are any private or public entity, commercial or non-commercial, established as a legal person in Norway or in Romania.
- The partner must have been established for at least 1 year at the date of the deadline of the present call.
- Projects that include a Norwegian partners are encouraged with additional points in selection.
