The Public Diplomacy Section of the U.S. Embassy in Mozambique has announced an open competition for entities to implement programming for its two American Spaces.
The American Center and the American Corner connect Mozambican audiences to American people, institutions, and resources. Through strategic outreach and innovative programming, American Spaces engage youth, organizations, and key influencers on topics relevant to the United States. The Public Diplomacy Section seeks proposals from organizations and individuals with capacity, experience, and knowledge to implement America-focused programs as described below.
- American English for U.S. Business Partnerships: Two 20-session cohorts to enhance English and cultural fluency for professionals engaging with U.S. partners.
- Beneficiaries: 40 professionals
- American Business Standards Workshop: Workshop introducing 50 entrepreneurs to U.S. business norms in the fields of technology, energy, and finance.
- Beneficiaries: 50 entrepreneurs
- American Leadership Skills Courses: Training for 100 participants on leadership, soft skills, and U.S.-based digital tools.
- Beneficiaries: 100 emerging professionals
- American English Club for Key Youth Audiences: English training at the American Corner for 250 participants that are interested in studying in the United States or applying for U.S. business opportunities in Mozambique. The training includes TOEFL prep and public speaking.
- Beneficiaries: 250 students and professionals
- U.S. Critical Emerging Technologies Workshops: Bootcamp on American AI, data analysis, and machine learning to boost tech capacity in support of U.S. economic interests.
- Beneficiaries: 30 tech-focused youth

Ineligibility Criteria
- For-profit entities are not eligible.
