Deadline: 28-Apr-23

Together for Peace is launching Climate Action Leeds Community Microgrants in partnership with Leeds Community Foundation.

Climate Action Leeds is a five-year £2.5 million scheme funded by the national lottery, and delivered by a partnership of voluntary action Leeds, our future Leeds, together for peace, Leeds tidal, and cag consultants. The project aims to shape a ‘Zero Carbon, more nature friendly, more socially just Leeds by the 2030s’ through community-led climate action and networks of interest.

Over the next two years they will award a total of £150,000, in grants of up to £5,000, to support neighbourhood-based climate action projects. Projects will vary in size and scope, all using local knowledge to enable groups across the city to realise their own ideas about ways to reduce carbon, promote nature-friendly activity or increase social justice.

Funding Information

Two opportunities are being offered for funding – Microgrants of up to £1,000 for small grassroots groups, and small grants of up to £5,000 for organisations with annual income under £150,000.
