The UK’s Department for International Development (DFID) is seeking applications for its programme entitled- Tackling Maternal and Children Undernutrition Programme in Zambia.

Zambia has one of the highest rates of malnutrition in the world with an under-5 stunting rate of 40%. In its commitment to address the problem, the Government of Zambia (GRZ) developed the national First 1000 Most Critical Days Programme (MCDP) whose aim is to reduce stunting as well as build blocks for a coherent and sustainable nation-wide response to undernutrition.
