DFID’s UK Aid Connect Program: Creating Innovative Solutions to Change Poor People’s Lives

Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Program in Mozambique

Deadline for Phase 1: 15 September 2017

Deadline for Phase 2: 20 October 2017

The Department for International Development (DFID) is seeking proposals for its “UK Aid Connect” program to support consortia to create innovative solutions to complex development challenges that deliver real change to poor people’s lives.

There is a growing recognition that the problems facing the poorest most excluded people and the global challenges underlying those problems, are complex and interconnected. No single development actor has all the answers. Coalitions and collaboration bring new and creative ideas, innovation, better results and opportunities through pooled ideas, skills and resources.
