The Thomas wall Trust is inviting applications for its Digital Skills 2021 Programme to equip adults with basic digital skills for work and life, helping them access the online world.
The Trust recognises that the future of the labour market will become increasingly competitive, with employers placing greater emphasis on transferable skills.
Due to its success and demand, the programme will run throughout 2021, available to organisations working towards improving basic digital skills for people in need.
They will fund projects working with disadvantaged people aged 18 or over to improve their basic digital skills
Priorities
- Projects that link digital skills with employment opportunities.
- Match funded projects.
- Organisations that can provide compelling evidence of impact.
- Organisations working with collaborative networks.
Funding Information
- Organisations are welcome to apply for grants up to £5,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Not for profit organisations/charities based in the UK that have been established for at least three years
- Organisations with an annual turnover that does not exceed £500,000.
How and When to Apply
It will be a two stage application process with two funding rounds during 2020.
- You will be asked to upload the following documents:
- Latest set of financial accounts (these can be in draft format)
- Governing document ensuring all income is applied to the organisation’s purposes and not distributed to members, shareholders or owners, and has a clear and a Dissolution clause/asset lock in place requiring assets are distributed to a not for profit organisation with similar charitable aims in the instance of closure.
