The European Journalism Centre (EJC) is accepting pitches for the Global Health Journalism Grant Program for Germany and France. This programme will reward different journalistic projects in 2019 to cover global health topics in developing countries. Freelancers, journalists on staff, and newsrooms are equally eligible to apply.

The aim of the Global Health Journalism Grant Program is to promote innovative reports in German media on global health in developing countries. The purpose of the fellowship is to increase awareness of global health issues in society and to inform and encourage action by actors and decision makers in government and research, civil society, business and medicine, and development cooperation actors.

The Global Health Journalism Grants program aims to promote innovative media coverage in French media on health-related topics in developing countries.  The purpose of this fellowship is to raise awareness about international health, the general public, young adults and health-related decision-makers, researchers and leaders, as well as development actors.
