The Embassy of Switzerland in Türkiye is pleased to announce the call for proposals for projects in the field of human rights for 2024.
In 2024, the Embassy will support several small projects aimed at strengthening human rights and civil society in Turkey. In line with its own principles, the Embassy is particularly interested in issues such as Women’s Rights and Gender Equality, Children’s Rights and Welfare, Freedom of Expression and Democracy, and Promotion of Interfaith or Intercultural Dialogue. Projects should aim for long-term transformation.
Funding Information
- The maximum financing of projects by the Embassy is 150,000TL.
- An ongoing activity or a new project can be financed with this financial support; However, the entire project must be completed by November 2024 at the latest.
Eligibility Criteria
- Priority will be given to local associations and local NGOs with in-depth knowledge of Turkish society.
- Projects far from major city centers or in rural areas are given priority.
- All projects on migration (including migrant and refugee rights) are excluded from this call and will not be considered.
