European Commission announces Call for Proposals on Media Literacy for All

The European Commission has announced a call for proposal on Media Literacy that aims at fostering the development of new educational materials and/or services built on concrete instances of disinformation, as well as to design methods to raise awareness about the techniques commonly used by malicious actors in order to create, distribute and amplify disinformation over the internet.

The general objective of this call are:

Funding Information

  1. The total budget earmarked for the co-financing of projects under this call for proposals is € 500.000 (five hundred-thousand euros).
  2. Depending on the quality of the proposals, the Commission expects to fund of 2 – 5 projects.
  3. The Commission reserves the right not to distribute all the funds available.
  4. The maximum duration of projects is 12 months.
