The World Food Programme (WFP) in Colombia strengthens its commitment to peacebuilding, aligning its strategy with the new vision promoted by the Government of Colombia.
The selected Cooperating Partner will act as administrator of these funds provided by the World Food Programme (WFP) for the organizations selected and chosen within the framework of the Feeding Peace Fund (FAP) public call. These funds are focused on strengthening the approved initiatives to improve production capacity, business management, organization, and marketing.

Expected Results
- The funds must be used for:
- Purchase and delivery of inputs, bio-inputs, seeds, materials, equipment, tools, etc., aimed at strengthening the productive capacity, processing capacity, and productive infrastructure approved by the Fund.
- Technical assistance, training, and specialized consulting in organizational practices: Activities focused on strengthening capacities for associativity, solidarity economy, organizational strengthening, production management, business management, accounting and financial management, and business formalization.
- Activities focused on strengthening trade ties and sustainable market access: technical assistance, training, market strategies that include activities such as participation in short marketing circuits, fairs, trade events, formal business alliances, digital marketing, etc.
- Activities focused on institutional coordination with key stakeholders: Government entities at the regional and municipal levels, private companies, associations, and NGOs working on organizational, associative, production, value-added, value-chain, and marketing activities.
- Activities that promote social cohesion in the areas of production, marketing, gender, and inclusion: Training in access routes to production financing, financial education and digital literacy for small producers, brigades offering financial services, implementation of community savings models, community care models, creation of collaborative networks, awareness-raising campaigns on shared responsibility for care work, dialogue forums among rural producers, merchants, and local authorities to discuss challenges and share solutions and build joint visions for the development of inclusive and sustainable local production, etc.

Eligible Activities
- The activities that the PP will carry out during project operations may use WFP resources for activities and inputs in accordance with the production proposal, such as:
- Quotation, purchase, and delivery of physical assets required by the selected organizations: inputs, infrastructure adaptation, seeds, bio-inputs, machinery, tools, etc.
- Strengthening organizational, business management, production, and marketing capacities with a focus on quality. This will be achieved through the transfer of technical and commercial knowledge and skills, as well as the recovery of traditional and ancestral practices in the production process.
- Strengthening the workforce of small rural and urban producers, as well as people undergoing reintegration, through technical assistance to selected organizations, development of productive infrastructure, implementation of good agricultural practices, development of strategies for the formalization of rural employment, and building social capital to improve levels of social cohesion.
- Support for strategies for the positioning and fair marketing of products, and the opening and consolidation of local and regional markets. This includes client development, local contact management, participation in events and/or trade fairs, value-added marketing, promotion of commercial networks, production chains, alliances, or formal business links, etc.
- Strengthening the incorporation of cross-cutting approaches to participation, gender, differential, environmental, sustainability, and conflict sensitivity in the development of the production and business models of the selected organizations. The Cooperating Partner will take into account the initiatives approved by the WFP Food for Peace Fund Evaluation Committee.
