Funding Call to Prevent and Combat all forms of Violence against Children, Young People and Women

Open Call: Feminist Events Dedicated to the National Day Against Domestic Violence

European Commission is currently accepting proposals to prevent and combat all forms of violence against children, young people and women.

Priorities

For the purpose of this call, gender-based violence is defined as violence directed against a person because of that person’s gender (including gender identity/expression) or as violence that affects persons of a particular gender disproportionately.

Priority 1. Preventing gender-based violence

Priority 2. Tackling online violence against women

Priority 3. Protecting and supporting children, young people and women who are victims and potential victims (including witnesses) of violence

Priority 4. Preventing, combating and responding to peer violence amongst children

Funding Information

The indicative maximum amount earmarked for the co-financing of projects under this call for proposals is estimated at EUR 12 435 000.

Duration

The initial duration of the projects should not exceed 24 months.

Eligibility Criteria

Note: For applicants and partners established in the UK: please be aware that they must comply with the eligibility criteria for the entire duration of the action for which a grant is awarded. If the UK withdraws from the EU during the grant period without concluding an agreement with the EU ensuring in particular, that UK applicants and partners continue to be eligible, they will cease to receive EU funding (while continuing, where possible, to participate) or be required to leave the project on the basis of the grant agreement.
