Call for Applications: USAID Promoting Alternative Technologies & Fuels to Reduce the Use of Charcoal for Cooking (Congo DR)

Applications are open for “The Humanitarian Clean Cooking Fund (HCCF)”, which is a new grant fund established by the Global Alliance for Clean Cookstoves (Alliance) with support from the Norwegian Agency for International Development.

The HCCF’s primary objective is to increase access to cleaner fuels and more efficient cooking technologies among crisis-affected people through the scale-up of successful cooking interventions in humanitarian settings.

HCCF also aims to foster innovations in program design and increase investment in alternative fuels and cooking technologies, which will improve health, save lives, reduce costs, and promote safety among humanitarian populations.

Funding Information

The Alliance is offering two competitive grants of USD $150,000 – $250,000.00 each to qualified organizations to support the scale-up of successful cooking interventions in humanitarian settings.
