The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX) is seeking applications for Impact Funding Scheme to support those in need through partnerships with local charities and funding projects across four focus areas: Financial Literacy, Diversity and Inclusion, Poverty Relief, and Environmental Sustainability.
HKEX Foundation was established in June 2020 to deepen HKEX’s connectivity and longstanding commitment to addressing the social and environmental challenges faced by the communities.
Objectives
- Support non-subvented NGOs to undertake new services/ ideas or enhance their current services.
- Serve and support more targeted groups in their society.
- To address social and environmental challenges.

Funding Information
- From HKD 500,000 to HKD 1,000,000 / project.
- Duration: Within 12 months (with a maximum of 2-month preparation period).
Eligibility Criteria
- Agency member of The Hong Kong Council of Social Service;
- Charitable organisations registered under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance (Cap 112); and
- Organisations that do not receive government’s regular subvention (Except the funding for project-based and services through the way of bidding).

- Effective operational model and/or work plan, make the best use of resources and time
- Good track record in project performance
- Good management team.
