Grant support within the framework of the “HOLD ON” program is designed as a flexible tool to support and develop a network of youth centers and youth spaces in Ukraine and involve adolescents and young people in their work.
Priority Areas
- Within this wave of the “TRIMAY: SetUp edition” program, two separate lots of grant support are provided.
Lot 1. Creation, arrangement of MC/MP and program activities: This lot provides support for ideas and solutions aimed at:
creation or organization of youth centers and/or youth spaces in communities (especially where there is a corresponding demand from young people);
networking programs for youth centers and/or youth spaces, creating partnerships with the private and public sectors;
carrying out cosmetic repairs, purchasing furniture and technical equipment for the functioning of a youth center or space.
Lot 2. MC/MP Program Activities: This lot provides support for ideas and solutions aimed at:
ensuring the activities of the team of the youth center, youth space or youth public organization, which is engaged in the administration/organization of the work of the youth center or youth space;
organizing work with teenagers within the framework of the work of a youth center or youth space;
organization of psychosocial support for adolescents;
creating opportunities for self-realization of adolescents and young people through volunteering, entrepreneurship, and participation in the work of a youth center or youth space.
Funding Information
- The maximum budget of the project proposal should not exceed 500,000 hryvnias.
Eligibility Criteria
Grant support within the “HOLD: SetUp edition” wave may be provided to organizations that meet the following criteria:
officially registered in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Public Associations” or in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Charitable Activities and Charitable Organizations”;
included in the “Register of Non-Profit Organizations”;
have the sign of unprofitability 0032, 0034, 0036, 0038, 0039 and 0048;
can receive funds to the account and use them by providing the necessary documents/acts/checks;
have the administrative resources and competencies to implement the project and report on it;
have confirmation of cooperation with youth centers or youth spaces, perform the function of a youth center or youth space or undertake obligations to create a youth center or youth space;
comply with standards for combating and preventing sexual exploitation and violence, as well as child safety;
carry out their activities in the Andrushivska, Zhytomyrska, Khoroshivska, Olevska, Korostenska communities of the Zhytomyr region, in the Velykydymerska, Buchanska, Borodyanska, Makarivska, Gostomelska, Irpinska, Ivankivska, Vyshgorodska, Dymerska communities of the Kyiv region, and in the Chernihivska community of the Chernihiv region.
