INNO INDIGO: Call for Proposals on Biobased Energy

The INNO INDIGO Partnership Programme (IPP) have launched an Indo-European Science and Technology Joint Call for Proposals on Biobased Energy. The projects should be undertaken by a partnership of institutions (“consortium”) designed to produce new knowledge through fundamental, experimental and/or theoretical scientific research.

The aim of the INNO INDIGO Partnership Programme (IPP) is to support high quality research, development and innovation projects involving partners from Europe and India.

Thematic Area

Biobased Energy: India and Europe seek to reduce their carbon footprint by increasing their research on sustainable alternative energies. Among these alternative energies, biobased energy is of particular interest for both partners, especially energy produced from biomass and waste, to replace or complement fossil fuels both in the transport sector and in power (and heat) generation.

Depending on national regulations, the following items can be funded:

The INDIGO Partnership Programme S&T call will fund transnational collaborative research and development projects with a maximum duration of three years if not mentioned otherwise in the national/regional regulations.
