IRD’s SEP2D Programme: Reinforcing the Scientific Research on Plant Biodiversity

Investigation Grants for Environmental Journalism in Europe

The IRD (Institut de recherche pour le développement) is seeking applications for its Sud Expert Plantes Développement Durable (SEP2D) programme with an aim to reinforce the scientific research on plant biodiversity in these countries, through the strengthening of a partnership culture with the economic operators, the civil society and the political authorities.

SEP2D seeks to participate to the development of this scientific research that would be inclusive of national, sub-regional, regional and international public policy issues. The purpose of this call is to identify, select and fund projects that contribute to the capacity building of scientific teams in the Global South.

Grant Information

The SEP2D grant cannot exceed 80% of the project global budget. It cannot be more than 35.000,00 euros for a national project and no more than 75.000,00 euros for a regional or an international one.
