International Development Research Centre (IDRC), in collaboration with the Israel Science Foundation (ISF), the Azrieli Foundation, and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), has announced the third call for proposals in the Joint Canada-Israel Health Research Program, in order to support Canadian and Israeli researchers, who will work with collaborators from low- and middle-income countries, to explore new frontiers in overcoming therapeutic resistance in high fatality cancers.

The Program seeks to support fundamental research at the cutting-edge of biomedical science. This third call for proposals is directed toward biomedical sciences in cancer, while building capacity and furthering the knowledge-base in low and middle income countries
