The Magdalen Hospital Trust is pleased to announce its Grant Program to promote the welfare of young people, under the age of 25 years.
The programme focuses on assisting those who suffer from various effects of social deprivation, abuse, mental and physical handicap, inadequate housing, lack of education or training, and the problems derived from unemployment and broken families.
Funding Information
- Usually £500 – £2,000.
- Usually one-off although longer-term proposals will be considered very occasionally.
What is Funded?
- They prefer to fund project costs rather than core costs. Projects can include those that provide:
- training for work and personal development,
- clubs and play schemes,
- safeguarding education,
- mental health support and counselling,
- emergency care.
Who can benefit?
- UK-based Charities/Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIOs) working with vulnerable children and young adults, especially those at risk of sexual and other forms of exploitation.
What is not Funded?
- Grants are not given to:
- individuals,
- non-registered charities,
- charities without a website,
- national charities,
- charities with an annual unrestricted income in excess of £150,000,
- overseas charities with no links to a UK charity.
