Media Freedom Matters Program: Supporting Media Advocacy, Education and Awareness-raising Initiatives in Moldova

Freedom House, in collaboration with the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation has announced a call for funding and support from non-governmental organizations and co-operatives registered at the local level in the Eastern Partnership and the European Union, which aim to take action to raise awareness of freedom of the press, freedom of expression and independent media in the Republic of Moldova, including among the public, marginalized communities, government, local authorities and other sectors.

The “Media Freedom Matters” grant program will focus on the following objectives:

Thematic Areas

Freedom House and the Black Sea Trust will select up to three (3) advocacy initiatives to fund up to $ 10,000 each. Considerations in the following thematic areas will be considered:

The cost of the project can be up to $ 10,000.
