The U.S. Embassy Lima is pleased to announce the availability of Small Grants Funding through its FY25 Annual Program Statement (APS), managed by the Embassy’s Public Diplomacy Section (PDS).
The Embassy invites proposals for projects that align with U.S. priorities for a safer, stronger, and more prosperous United States and shared region. Strong proposals have a U.S. component and highlight U.S. leadership.
Funding Information
- Award Range: $10,000 – $30,000
Duration
- Length of performance period: 2 to 24 months
Eligible Projects
- The Small Grants Program projects may include, but is not limited to:
- Lectures, seminars, and speaker programs (e.g. tech, AI, entrepreneurship, security, trade)
- Cultural/Artistic workshops, joint performances, and exhibitions;
- Professional or academic exchanges and projects (including virtual exchanges with U.S. experts and/or academia)
- Professional development workshops and training (e.g. best practices with the United States in the private and public sector).
Eligibility Criteria
- The U.S. Embassy Lima Public Diplomacy Section encourages applications from U.S. or Peruvian citizens and/or organizations, including:
- Registered public or private non-profit organizations, such as think tanks and civil society/non-governmental organizations with programming experience
- Non-profit organizations and public or private educational institutions
- Governmental institutions
- Individuals may apply, but should be prepared to provide substantial information on past grant management and qualifications, and maintain a separate account for grant funds
- For-profit or commercial entities are not eligible to apply.
Ineligibility Criteria
- The following types of projects are not eligible for funding:
- Requests by organizations and individuals who are neither Peruvian nor U.S. based;
- Those relating to partisan political activity;
- Charitable activities;
- Construction projects;
- Projects that support specific religious activities.
