Applications are now open for the Netherlands Office Taipei’s Open Call for Cultural Proposals 2024: Special Edition – Year of Netherlands Innovation and Culture in Taiwan.
In 2024, the Netherlands Office Taipei is marking the Year of Netherlands Innovation and Culture in Taiwan. To commemorate this special occasion together with creative, cultural, and civil society organizations in Taiwan, their office is keen to support activities that seek to strengthen cultural exchange and cooperation between the Netherlands and Taiwan, provide a platform for reflection on their shared history and cultural heritage, or promote the values of press freedom, gender equality, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism.
What they offer?
- For each project, the Netherlands Office Taipei will award funding of €2,500 to €10,000.
- Financial contributions are only awarded as far as their budget allows.
- Only a small number of applicants will receive funding. The requested amount is not always granted in its entirety.
Eligibility Criteria
- All creative, cultural, and civil society organizations are eligible to apply for funding. The project must involve a collaboration between at least one Taiwanese partner, and one Dutch partner. - The objectives, intended results, expected impact, and target audience of the initiative should be made clear in the application.
- Applications must include a budget proposal with a clear breakdown of the costs. Applications without a budget proposal will not be considered.
- Proposals with additional co-financing from Dutch and/or Taiwanese partners will be given priority when assessed. In such cases, a letter of commitment from the Dutch and/or Taiwanese partners is required.
- The project must start and end in the calendar year 2024. Funding will not be granted to activities that have already begun or ended.
- Purely commercial activities are not eligible for funding. The project receiving financial support must be publicly accessible.
