The Bodossaki Foundation is accepting applications for its Organisational Grants Programme to promote gender equality and empowerment of women in Greece.
Interested CSOs will also have the opportunity to participate in tailor-made proposal writing workshops. Through participating in the workshops, organisations will be able to identify their organisational needs, define priority axes, sub-actions and expected outcomes of the Organisational Development Action Plan. In addition, the workshops will provide practical advice on completing the capacity mapping and the application form.
Funding Information
- The call will provide support to CSOs that demonstrate readiness to upgrade their organisational operations. A total of up to 17 CSOs will be supported for up to 2 years with a total amount of €350,000.
- In addition, grantee organisations will receive an advanced Capacity Building programme from Social Dynamo, the Bodossaki Foundation’s NGO Hub.
Eligibility Criteria
- Interested CSOs must meet the following general eligibility requirements:
- They must be:
- Civil Society Organizations, as defined under Law 4873/2021, i.e. associations or civil non-profit companies,
- public benefit foundations as defined under Law 4182/2013 or any successor legislation.
- They must be established in Greece and at the time of the announcement of the call they must have been legally established for at least one (1) year since their incorporation and acquisition of legal personality.
- They must not belong to the public sector or to local authorities, they must not be legal persons under public law or legal persons within the broader public sector, as defined by the applicable legal provisions. In general they must not fall under the jurisdiction or supervision of the State and their action must not be of a religious, political or trade union – professional nature.

Application Requirements
- Each candidate CSO must submit an independent application. There is no provision for the participation of partners.
- Each candidate CSO must submit only one (1) application under the first call.
- Eligible CSOs must observe the principles of democratic values and human rights and respect the fundamental rights and values on the basis of which the EU was founded and must not promote, approve or support any form of physical, psychological violence against women, children and other groups at risk, and in general the promotion of all forms of violence, in their actions, communication strategies or public messages.
