The Hadassah Foundation is requesting proposals for its Core US Grant to strengthen the leadership capacity and role of self-identifying women and girls in the U.S. Jewish community.
Priorities
- Priority will be given to initiatives that utilize one or more of these key strategies:
- Collective approaches that promote collaboration among organizations or networks, leveraging their shared resources, expertise, and influence.
- Integration of research and advocacy to implement data-driven strategies that enhance the understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by women and girls, and to promote policy changes that are in line with these findings.
- Community education and empowerment to raise public awareness and encourage collective action for the advancement of women’s rights and gender equity.
Funding Information
- Annual budgets between $250,000 and $5 million
- Grants are for $80,000, paid out over three years, beginning in January 2026 and ending in December 2028.
- Payments will be made in January of each year, in the following increments: $30,000 in year one; $30,000 in year two, and $20,000 in year three.
Eligibility Criteria
- They are accepting grant applications from U.S.-based organizations
- Organizations or their fiscal sponsors must have 501c (3) status.
- Nonprofits can apply for either general-operating or project-based support.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Funding may not be used for capital campaigns, partisan political activities, or sponsorships to individuals.
