Applications are now open for the Scotlands Te Kiteroa Charitable Grant Program.
Grants are primarily directed towards individuals, groups and organisations in country areas and rural towns. Grants are made for projects and activities in the following categories: children, care, elderly, community, conservation, counselling, education, up to a maximum grant of $1,500.
This Trust was established in 1982 by WDFF (now known as Rural Women New Zealand) to carry out, promote and assist such acts and purposes which are in accordance with the law of New Zealand and for the time being deemed to be charitable.

Eligibility Criteria
The grant is considered by the following categories:
- The welfare of children and the elderly
- Community, Conservation, Education
- The following categories are amongst those that will NOT be considered: Housing, buildings, religion, employment, justice, hui, personal expenses and salaries, education outside New Zealand.
