The Brimbank City Council is seeking applications for its Seniors Operational Grants to provide support for senior groups in Brimbank towards their day-to-day operating costs.
The Brimbank Seniors Operational Grants contributes towards Brimbank Council’s Together they are Brimbank Plan (including Community Vision 2040, Council Plan 2021 – 2025, Municipal Public and Health wellbeing Plan) and the Aged Friendly Cities Plan 2018 – 2022.
Funding Information
- Seniors Operational Grants can provide funding up to $1,000.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a not-for-profit incorporated group or organisation.
- Supply incorporation number OR be under the auspice of an incorporated group or organisation.
- If auspiced, include the details of the auspicing group or organisation.
- Have current Public Liability Insurance (PLI) cover for the duration of the funding.
- Have an Australian Business Number (ABN) OR provide a Statement by a Supplier form.
- Have independent membership of more than 15 people.
- Be based in Brimbank, meet regularly AND majority of members must live in Brimbank.
- Majority of members aged 65 years or older and 50 years or older for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people.
