Small Grants Programme for improving the lives of Patients with Palliative Care Needs across Africa

The True Colours Trust’s Small Grants Programme now open to support palliative care providers across Africa.

Grants are awarded to projects which directly improve the lives of patients with palliative care needs. Most grants are awarded to small, locally-based organisations which are improving the standard of palliative care in their communities. The scheme was established in 2009 and is administered by the African Palliative Care Association.

Funding Information

Funding is normally awarded for one-off projects and the size of grants ranges from £500 to £5,000. Projects should be implemented within one year of the receipt of a grant.

Funding Priorities

Funds disbursed through the Small Grants Programme should be used for activities which increase access to palliative care, improve the standard of palliative care services and directly improve the patient and family experience. Priority is given to the following, in no particular order:
