The Ministry of Culture is pleased to announce the Competitive Grants for Cultural Cooperation Projects in Rural Areas.
These grants aim to support cultural cooperation projects between autonomous communities carried out by companies and non-profit entities in the national cultural sector, as well as by individuals who are professionals registered with the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers, carried out in rural areas.
These projects represent a significant and relevant contribution to the cultural ecosystem, foster innovation and cultural communication between different autonomous communities, and facilitate access to culture for all segments of the population.
Funding Information
- Endowment is 680,000 euros
- The maximum amount that can be requested is 120,000 euros.
Eligibility Criteria
- The following entities may be beneficiaries:
- Private entities, whether for-profit or non-profit, that belong to the cultural sector and operate in rural areas.
- Individuals who carry out a professional activity and are registered with the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers (RETA). They must belong to the cultural sector and operate within a rural environment.
- Rural areas are defined as municipalities with a population of less than 30,000 inhabitants and a density of less than 100 inhabitants per km2 and, in any case, those with a population of less than 5,000 inhabitants, regardless of their population density.
- However, entities whose headquarters are not located in rural areas may participate, provided that the project is carried out in municipalities with the aforementioned characteristics.
