The Sport: Rural Travel Fund Program is a collaborative initiative between Sport New Zealand and the Buller District Council which aims to support junior sports development in rural communities by providing financial assistance to subsidise travel expenses.
Funding Information
- A total of $9,100 will be distributed through the two funding rounds.
Criteria
- Funding is not available for individuals or commercial activities, and each applicant can receive funding only once per financial year (1 July—30 June). Due to high demand, not all applications can be funded.
- All applications must be on the Rural Travel Fund application form either submitted online, by email or in person at the service centers.
- Images or screenshots of applications or supporting documents will not be accepted. Please submit these in Word or PDF.
