The Paul Ramsay Foundation (PRF) is accepting applications for the Strengthening Family-Centred Collaborations Grant Program to support families to recover from domestic and family violence.
Priorities
- Collaborations that meet one or more of the priorities will be assessed favourably. Your Collaboration is not expected to meet all of the below priorities. Each priority below is equally weighted:
- Collaborate across two or more different Systems.
- Benefit more than one of the following cohorts: pregnant women, children under 12 years, First Nations communities, CALD communities.
- Connect/operate program(s) that have been informed by evaluations, expert guidance or research.
- Connect/deliver program(s) led or informed by people with Lived Experience of DFV, out of home care and/or child protection
Funding Information
- Successful Collaborations will receive a total of $600,000 in funding over three years ($200,000 per annum) and support from learning partners to strengthen their existing activities.
Eligible Activities
- Examples of activities funding can be used for:
- Advocacy activities, including relevant policy and law reform
- Brokerage for the whole network to strengthen outcomes (e.g., rent, transport)
- Capability supports
- Community co-design
- Evaluation/research projects and activities
- Facilitation of collaboration or partnerships to strengthen outcomes
- Inclusion of lived experience in the Collaboration’s activities (e.g., governance, decision making, program design)
Eligibility Criteria
- You must meet both Collaboration and Applicant organisation requirements to be eligible for funding.
- Collaboration Eligibility
- Your Collaboration must meet all the below requirements to be eligible for funding.
- Be based in the Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia or Western Australia (i.e., the majority of organisations in the Collaboration). They will consider Collaborations based in adjacent areas to the Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia for Collaborations mainly benefiting First Nations communities.
- Benefit a community or communities in the Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia or Western Australia. They will consider Collaborations mainly benefiting First Nations communities in areas adjacent to the Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
- Mainly benefit cohort(s): Pregnant women, or children under 12 years, or First Nations communities, or CALD communities.
- Focus on secondary prevention (i.e., supports for vulnerable families to change their trajectories), and/or recovery and healing (i.e., supports that build stability and minimise long-term trauma responses after adverse events).
- Be an existing Collaboration that has worked together for six months or more. Proof of working together on a project, event, or issue is required.
- Include three or more organisations (e.g., organisations may be non-profit organisations and associations registered with the ACNC, volunteer groups, schools, early learning centres, local and state government ‘chapters’).
- Your Collaboration must meet all the below requirements to be eligible for funding.
- Applicant Organisation Eligibility
- Be an entity registered with ACNC.
- Be based in the Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia or Western Australia.
- If your focus is on First Nations communities, be a First Nations-led organisation or have an endorsement from a First Nations-led organisation in your Collaboration.
- If your focus is on CALD communities, be a CALD-led organisation or have an endorsement from a CALD-led organisation in your Collaboration or demonstrate CALD capability and leadership.
