The Foundation funds projects, items or ideas that demonstrate careful costing by the applicant organisation.
Tobin Brothers Funerals made a founding donation of $25,000 and has since added funds annually through fund raising activities.

- The Foundation prides itself on the diversity of grant recipients from across a broad spectrum.
- Grants are limited to those organisations with Deductible Gift Recipient status, under Division 30 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
- Tobin Brothers Foundation recognises those organisations that may have difficulty in obtaining funding from other government and/or private sources.

Funding Information
Awards are presently available up to $5,000.
Criteria
- The Foundation will make its assessment on the basis of the information contained in the official Application Form. Additional material or attachments will not be considered unless specifically requested by the Foundation.
- Applicants are to provide evidence of their status as a Deductible Gift Recipient.
- When the completed application form is received,
- The Trustees review all applications and applicants are notified in writing if they are successful or not.
