The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust has announced an Award Grants, they aim to give grants to those in society who face the greatest challenges and whose opportunities are most limited. They have decided to focus on The Arts for all grants in 2022.

The Arts: People in the early stages of their career
Covid 19 has had a devastating effect on all areas of the arts, and especially on the opportunities for talented young people. Grant Round 1 will therefore focus on supporting people in the early stages of their career within the arts.

Amount: £1,000
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for a grant:
- your charity’s project must fall within one of the current priorities;
- your charity’s income and expenditure must meet the requirements for the relevant Grant Round;
- your charity’s project must not be on the list of projects or organisations that they don’t fund.
- Please check all these details. They have limited administration resources, and appreciate charities’ cooperation in ensuring that they work together to focus on the priority causes.
- Minimum operating income and operating expenditure: £100,000.
- Maximum operating income and operating expenditure: £2,000,000.
- Please Note: The maximum income is for this round in 2022 only – the usual maximum threshold is £1,000,000.
