The One Community is now accepting applications for its Davy Fund to support grassroots projects that encourage local children and young people to participate in sports, with an emphasis on team activities.
Established by the Davy family, it actively believes in developing team spirit by taking part in sports that genuinely improve long-term health and social benefits in Kirklees.
Funding Information
You can apply for up to £1,000.
What One Community will fund?
- They can fund a wide range of items, including volunteer expenses, publicity costs, equipment, room/pitch hire, materials/kit for activities, contributions to staffing costs etc.
- The grants can be used to extend current activities or to introduce new one within 12 months of your project start date.
- If you have successfully applied for a One Community grant before, this Fund welcomes you to apply again.
Eligibility Criteria
Charities and community groups across Kirklees looking for funding of up to £1,000 to encourage the participation of children and young people in team sport and activities.
